A little bragging

Do you know what kind of bird that is? A pileated woodpecker!! I hear that they rarely come to feeders, but we have a pair that visit our suet every week.

School is officially over, though we are finishing up a couple of subjects: Science we have a few chapters (that is fun for Sam, not hard work) and he has a paper to write (now that is excruciating work).

We have a new family member for the summer, I'll post his picture later. His family is in Africa and he has an internship at the local lab with an electron beam accelerator. I guess getting almost straight A's as a physics major has its benefits.
